Potosi, Mo. (KFMO) - On the evening of Monday, October 20, 2025, a Deputy with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was on patrol when he spotted a stolen vehicle at the Gulf gas station in Potosi.
As the driver exited the business, the Deputy took him into custody without incident. During an interview, the suspect admitted there were narcotics inside the vehicle. A search revealed substances that later tested positive for methamphetamine. Authorities identified the suspect as 18-year-old Andrew Warner of Villa Ridge.
Warner was arrested and charged with Tampering with a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance. His bond was set at $20,000 surety.
