Storms Impacts Washington County Memorial Hospital, Facilities Remain Fully Operational

Potosi, Mo. (KFMO) - Washington County Memorial Hospital and Clinics sustained damage from a radar-indicated tornado that swept through Tuesday afternoon, but hospital officials say all facilities remain open and fully operational.

Hospital CEO Michele Meyer praised staff for their swift response and commitment to patient safety. While a full assessment of the building damage is still underway, emergency services, inpatient care, clinics, and essential outpatient services are continuing without interruption. Patients with scheduled appointments are advised to keep them unless they are contacted directly by hospital staff. The emergency department also remains open for anyone in need of urgent medical attention.

Hospital officials say updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
