St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - On August 14, 2025, detectives with the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department arrested 35-year-old Tiffany Hedrick on Grand Jury charges related to the death of 3-year-old Conrad Ashcraft.
Hedrick has been indicted on three felony charges: second-degree murder, abuse or neglect of a child resulting in death, and armed criminal action. She is being held at the St. Francois County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
According to Sheriff’s officials, the arrest is the result of a lengthy and thorough investigation conducted by the department’s detectives. The Sheriff expressed appreciation for the assistance of the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, noting their collaboration was essential in advancing the case.
“The death of a child is a tragedy that shakes the very core of a community,” the Sheriff said, adding thanks to residents for allowing the judicial process to unfold without rushing to judgment.
