St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department Continue Upgrading Fleet with New Vehicles

St. Francois County, Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department is continuing efforts to upgrade its fleet of vehicles.

Sheriff Jeff Crites says with the county covering such a large area, patrol cars experience significant wear and tear.

The new vehicles are black in color and feature a new, highly reflective striping package to improve visibility and safety. Crites says the department has already purchased 11 new vehicles as part of the ongoing replacement plan.
