Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Commission has given permission for the Parks Department to enter into a cost share agreement with the Missouri Department of Conservation, with the goal of establishing a pollinator habitat.
The estimated total cost is around $3,000, with 75 percent of that total to be reimbursed by the MDC. Parks Department Biologist Kolby Buckley says the habitat will go along the county's trails.
Planting will start in December and go through February. The Parks Department will provide the labor for the project.
