St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department says an investigation is underway following a shooting incident in East Bonne Terre.
Deputies were called to a residence on August 30 after reports of shots fired into a home. Investigators say multiple bullet impacts were found on the house and nearby vehicles. At the time, three adults and a two-year-old child were inside.
During the investigation, deputies gathered evidence, developed suspect information, and obtained a description of a suspect vehicle. On September 6, a deputy located the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle fled, leading to a short pursuit that ended near Mineral Area College. A male and female suspect ran from the car and were not immediately caught. On September 7, one suspect was taken into custody in connection with the shooting and pursuit.
Authorities say all suspects have been identified, and the investigation remains active.
