Route C Bridge Closed in Washington County

Washington County, Mo. (KFMO) - The Route C bridge over Big River has been closed for a replacement project that will last through September.

A detour directs drivers to Routes 21, 8, and P. Built in 1934, the bridge is being replaced with a wider, raised structure to meet modern standards. Robertson Contractors, Inc. is handling the $2 million MoDOT project. All work is weather-permitting.
