Park Hills Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Old Highway 8

St. Francois County, Mo. (KFMO) - A 21-year-old Park Hills man was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened just after noon on Old Highway 8, west of Church Road. Troopers say the 2011 Triumph Street Triple motorcycle traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree. The driver was ejected from the bike.

The victim suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Parkland Health Center in Farmington for treatment. The motorcycle was totaled and towed from the scene.
