Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - An Oakville man is facing multiple charges after allegedly spending tens of thousands of dollars on a company credit card in Jefferson County.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, Kevin Scott Tate is accused of using the company card between August 2022 and May 2023 for personal expenses totaling more than $30,000. A forensic audit revealed the unauthorized charges after the company grew suspicious.
Investigators say Tate spent over $18,000 at the Woodspring Suites in Arnold, nearly $6,800 on PayPal and DoorDash, and $6,000 in payments to a law firm handling his personal legal cases.
The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has charged Tate with 10 counts of stealing of $750 or more. He’s been issued a criminal summons to appear in court on November 24.
