St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A French Village man was injured in a crash involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle Thursday morning in St. Francois County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 7:21 a.m. at the intersection of Rouggley Road and Thurman Oaks Road. Troopers say a30-year-old man, of Valles Mines, was driving a northbound 2013 Dodge 1500 pickup when he failed to yield while attempting to make a left turn. His truck collided with an eastbound 2014 Harley Davidson FXD, driven by a 67-year-old man of French Village. The impact ejected the motorcyclist. He sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson. The pickup had moderate damage but was driven from the scene.
The motorcycle was removed by a private tow company. Both drivers were wearing safety devices at the time of the accident.
