Governor Activates Missouri National Guard Ahead of Planned Protests

Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe has signed Executive Order 25-25, activating the Missouri National Guard in response to planned immigration enforcement protests and recent civil unrest across the country.

The order declares a State of Emergency and allows the Guard to assist local law enforcement in protecting life and property if needed.

A Unified Command has been established between the Missouri Department of Public Safety, State Highway Patrol, and the National Guard to monitor the situation and coordinate any necessary response.
