Mental Health Board Joins Suicide Prevention Coalition

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Mental Health Board is now a part of a coaliton with the Missouri Suicide Prevention Network.

The board's Vice President, Whitney Shumway, says it gives them a chance to provide more information on suicide prevention.

Shumway explains the meeting will be held from 9 am to 2 pm next Tuesday, August 19th at the Farmington Public Library. The meeting will cover suicide prevention, the Full SAFE Program by Addiction is Real, Inc., the Hidden In Plain View program, and information from community patterners.
