Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Mineral Area College saw an increase in total students this summer, but saw a slight dip in credit hours.
Dean of Student Services Julie Sheets reported the summer census to the MAC Board of Trustees last Thursday. Overall credit hours dropped about 2.7%, or about 122 credit hours. Student numbers, however, are up 1.5%, or about 11 students. Sheets says the census reveals other numbers as being on the rise.
In other business, the board held its annual tax rate hearing before the regular meeting, with no speakers coming to the podium.
