Jefferson County Deputies Seek Charges After Drug Possession Stop

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is pursuing charges against two men following a drug possession investigation early May 9, 2025.

Just after midnight, a deputy stopped a 1994 Ford F-150 traveling without a license plate on East Swallow Road near Rhonda Sue Drive in Imperial. The vehicle was driven by a 34-year-old man from Antonia, accompanied by a 35-year-old man from Imperial. According to the sheriff’s report, the deputy noticed signs of nervousness from the men and requested to search the truck. During the search, a bag containing suspected illegal narcotics was found under the seat, along with numerous capsules floating in a cup in the cupholder.

Charges are expected to be filed against both men as the investigation continues.
