Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Tens of millions of Americans get in one final summer getaway over Labor Day weekend.
AAA says flights, hotels and car rentals are generally cheaper than this time last year. AAA spokeswoman Aixa Diaz says gas prices are holding stead.
The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $3.16. It was $3.33 last Labor Day.
Here in Missouri, the lowest price is $2.54 per gallon, with the average of $2.90 per gallon.
