Fatal Motorcycle Crash Wednesday

St. Francois County, Mo. (KFMO) - A Park Hills man is dead after a motorcycle crash in St. Francois County Wednesday evening just after 5:30 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 18-year-old failed to negotiate a curve while traveling westbound on Loughboro Road east of Ritter Creek Drive. The bike overturned, struck an oncoming vehicle and ejected the motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, no injuries were reported to the occupants of the second vehicle.
