Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The City of Farmington will host a public open house on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, to gather community input on a proposed roundabout at Woodlawn Drive and Highway 67, located directly behind Hobby Lobby and Rural King.
City Administrator Greg Beavers says the city wants feedback from residents about the project.
The idea for the roundabout stems from an extensive traffic study conducted by the Lochmiller Group in partnership with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and the City of Farmington.
Officials say the city is applying for a MoDOT cost-sharing grant that would cover 50 percent of the project’s expenses. The roundabout discussion will be part of the City’s 2026 Comprehensive Plan open house, which will also be held that day.
The open house takes place in the Farmington Public Library Community Room from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and residents are encouraged to attend at any time during those hours to provide input.
