Farmington to Begin Mosquito Spraying Program June 2

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The City of Farmington will launch its neighborhood mosquito control program on Monday, June 2, 2025. City crews will begin fogging operations that evening and continue spraying every two weeks throughout the summer.

Spraying will begin at 8:00 p.m. and follow this regular schedule:

Zone 1 – Mondays

Zone 2 – Tuesdays

Zone 3 – Wednesdays

Residents can view the city’s ward and spraying zones map online at www.farmington-mo.gov/ward-map.

City officials are also asking beekeepers living within city limits to contact the City of Farmington at 573-756-1701 to help protect their hives during the fogging process.

The mosquito control program is part of the city’s effort to improve public health and comfort during the warmer months.
