Construction Begins Next Week on New Desloge Roundabout; State Street to Close June 9

Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - Major construction is set to begin next week on a new roundabout at State Street in Desloge.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) says State Street will close to traffic starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 9, 2025, as crews begin the first phase of the project.

Area Engineer Corbin Carlton, with MoDOT, says the construction will be carried out in multiple phases, and drivers should plan ahead for travel delays.

Carlton notes that while crews will work to minimize disruptions, drivers should allow for extra travel time and consider alternate routes throughout the duration of the project. MoDOT expects the new roundabout to be completed and open to traffic by December 15, 2025.
