Caledonia, Mo. (KFMO) - The construction and renovation projects continue as the new school year gets ready to begin in the Valley RVI School District.
The Superintendent of the district, Jason Samples, say one of the most important parts of those upgrades is the electrical system in the Junior High and High School.
According to Samples, other work in the district includes a new ramp to connect the music and science areas of the Junior High, High Scool, a complete renovation of the building's kitchen, a new library expansion, new secure exterior entrance doors, and a new intercom system. There will also be a new building to connect the elementary and Junior High, High School buidlings, a brand new art room, and more.
The upgrades are possible through the support of Proposition S district patrons approved a year ago.
