Community Continues to Wait For Answers Regarding Death of 3-Year-Old

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Weeks after the death of 3-year-old Conrad Ashcraft, the community is still waiting for more information about the circumstances around his death.

Ashcraft died at Poppy's Playhouse 2 in Park Hills on May 16 after he had been held down and laid under an 18-pound weighted blanket. This week, an autopsy was completed by the St. Francois County Coroner's Office, but an official cause of death has not been revealed, nor will the results be released due to the ongoing investigation.

As of Wednesday, July 30, 2025, no one has been charged for the death of Ashcraft.
