Bonne Terre Woman Arrested on Drug and Theft-Related Charges

Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Bonne Terre woman is facing multiple charges following her arrest in Ste. Genevieve County on Friday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 46-year-old Mellissa A. Ellis was taken into custody around 7:16 p.m. on September 5. Troopers say she was found in possession of two needles containing fentanyl and methamphetamine totaling about three grams. Ellis also had outstanding warrants from the Desloge Police Department for failure to appear on charges of trespassing and six counts of shoplifting.

She was booked into the Ste. Genevieve County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
