St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A head-on collision early Sunday morning in St. Francois County left a Bismarck man with moderate injuries.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 12:40 a.m. on Missouri Highway 221 at Heinrich Road. Troopers say a 36-year-old man from Bismarck was driving north in a 2007 Buick Lucerne when he attempted to pass on a blind curve. His vehicle struck the side of a southbound 2017 Chevrolet 2500 driven by a 39-year-old man of Pilot Knob. The Bismarck man was not wearing a seatbelt, and was taken by ambulance to Parkland Health Center in Farmington with moderate injuries.
The Pilot Knob man was not reported injured. Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.
